House Sits Oamaru

Oamaru is the largest town in North Otago and boasts Victorian architecture that attracts visitors throughout the year. The annual Oamaru Victorian Fete is a great excuse to take a step back in time by dressing up in Victorian clothing as you explore the craft and antique shops, cafes and bookshops. Save some energy though for a visit to the Oamaru Blue Penguin Colony, where you can see penguins in their natural environment. If being outdoors in nature is your thing then Bushy Beach Scenic Reserve is another place to visit, though please note that no dogs are allowed there (yellow-eyed penguin breed there).
