House Sits Te Puke

Te Puke is known as the kiwifruit capital of New Zealand and is perfectly placed for exploring the Bay of Plenty. If you want to discover more about kiwifruit, then there are Kiwifruit Country Tours, whilst there is also Comvita, New Zealand’s famous producer of Manuka Honey to visit at Paengaroa, about ten minutes’ drive from Te Puke.

For those who want some exercise, there is the Papamoa Regional Hills Park to explore, and also the outdoor adventure TECT All Terrain Park. A beach is never too far away in the Western Bay of Plenty. If you’re in Te Puke, Maketu and Pukehina are both popular spots for fishing, and if you go further along the coast there is the stunning Ohope beach too.
