If you just want a relaxing day out in South Auckland, hop on board the Glenbrook Vintage railway and enjoy the rural Franklin countryside on a leisurely 15km return journey. Animal lovers will not want to leave South Auckland without visiting Butterfly Creek to see the crocodiles, tamarins, dinosaurs, weta, and of course the butterflies.
